The automobile LED lamp replaces the LED light bulb to ignite spontaneously, the refitting LED needs to be careful!

Today, we want to say something very serious. A friend replaced his car's in-car light bulb with an LED, but unexpectedly the LED light bulb almost caused the car to spontaneously ignite because of the high temperature accident. Here, I would also like to remind you that there is a risk in refitting, and the selection of LED should be cautious.
Car interior lights burned out by LED
Afterwards, the friend has replaced the new car interior lamp and sent the damaged lamp to us by express delivery. From the photos, it can be seen that the interior of the lamp has been burnt and can imagine the "spectacular" scene at that time. At the same time, the friend also told us that there was a very strong burnt smell in the car after the accident, and it had been more than a month since the accident. He had done a comprehensive deodorization for the interior, but the car still had the smell of plastic burnt.
Burned LED lights and carbonized lamp holders
Let's take a look at the culprit. A W5W LED bulb has a blackened surface and high temperature causes the plastic lamp holder to melt and carbonize.

On the other hand, the general appearance of this W5W LED lamp can also be distinguished, but from the state of solder, it can be inferred that the temperature of the LED beads at that time had led to solder melting. It is also likely to be a chain reaction. The high temperature of LED itself causes solder melting, solder melting causes short circuit, and after short circuit leads to higher temperature, finally burning the fuse to avoid greater losses.

From the side, it can be seen that this LED bulb is made of aluminium substrate, and also has aluminium radiator in the middle. Nevertheless, it still failed to withstand the high temperature, so this also caused us to wonder whether the lack of heat dissipation caused the burning of LED lights? To this end, we have also purchased the brand's brand-new LED lights, and are ready to do an experiment to confirm our guess.
Front of LED bulb
The three unburned LEDs shown above are the other three LED bulbs in the lamp. This is just to show us the true face of Lushan before they were burned down. But there is nothing wrong with the car LED lights from the front, but it is important to note that the solder joints of these three LED beads have also changed.
Side of LED bulb
However, when we turn the LED beads to the side, we find some very bad situations. The patch LED used in the LED bulb has been partly turned up, which indicates that the high temperature has melted the solder on the back of these patch components, so it will lead to the patch unevenness. Of course, if these LED beads are like this when they are manufactured, then we have to make a sweat for the quality control and quality control of this brand...

Let's put these three beads together to illustrate a case. It can be seen that the color of the aluminum radiator in the middle of the three beads is different. This is not because of the angle or light, but because the aluminium radiator surface paint changes after high temperature, resulting in discoloration. The top black aluminium radiator is the normal state of this LED lamp, while the bottom two bulbs have obvious color changes in their aluminium radiator, which means that the two bulbs have been suffering from "high temperature" while working.
